Undergraduates:

The Context Lab at Florida State University has openings for responsible, enthusiastic students who want to gain research experience in Developmental Psychology through DIS credits. The following is our current DIS ad:
 

The Context Lab is seeking DIS students for the Fall 2024 Semester! Our primary research focus is completing secondary analyses on contextual variables of achievement outcomes among BIPOC youth. Students will be responsible for assisting in literature reviews, annotated bibliographies, presentations, and data collection Our lab is affiliated with Florida Reading Research, Center for Population Science and Health Equity(C-PSHE), and the Center for Research on People of Color at Columbia University.  

 

Interested applicants must have completed Research Methods and Child Psychology and be able to dedicate 3 credit hours per semester.

 
Duties may include:

- Secondary Data Analysis

- Attending weekly lab meetings

- Recruiting participants

- Data Collection
- Data entry
- Occasional community recruitment events
